D's Birthday Card

Dionne's birthday was round the corner and I was thinking real hard on what to get for our very creative architect who made me the chef apron. In the end, I bought her a pressie and decided to make a simple birthday card inspired by Kristina Werner for her. =)

A Fabric Card

It has been a while since my last post as I have been busy with a project at work as well as planning for my self-drive holiday in NZ. I will be leaving tonight and therefore I thought I will do a quick post on a simple card that I have made and is on its way to Melbourne. =) The choice of the fabric used was chosen with the recipient in mind and I hope Kel likes it!

On a separate note, I attended a friend's wedding dinner last night and received this interesting and useful wedding favour that I really like! It's a set of measuring spoons with messages such as "a pinch of joy", "a dash of tenderness", "a spoonful of affection" and "a heap of love" on it.

Before I go, I would like to wish all mothers and mother-to-be a Happy Mothers' Day!

Thank You Card

This is on its way to Sydney for the creative D who stitched the word "Chef" on the apron for me! The colours on the card have been intended to match the colours of the apron. =)

Softball Card

Made this together with the softball cake for Judy's birthday last month. I got the 8 ply red wool thread from Spotlight. After googling for a picture of softball / baseball, I embarked on this mini project with no idea on how it will turn out. I drew the 2 lines and started to stitch the red sewing on the softball, stitch by stitch, hoping that it will turn out fine.

PS: I was told that the softball Judy uses is yellow and not white. =|

Wedding Card

I have gone out to the book stores to look for a simple wedding card for my colleague's ROM but didn't find one that I like so decided to make one myself! You can try it too with this easy-to-follow tutorial on YouTube!
